Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Oracle APEX Developer to lead the development of our "Key Smart Applications." This role requires deep expertise in Oracle APEX, advanced Oracle Database capabilities, and a strong understanding of IoT architectures and smart system data. The Senior Developer will be responsible for architecting scalable and secure APEX solutions that drive intelligence and control across our smart infrastructure, mentoring team members, and ensuring technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership & Application Development: Lead the end-to-end architectural design, development, and implementation of complex, high-performance Oracle APEX applications for "Key Smart Applications." Define technical standards, best practices, and innovative solutions for integrating and visualizing smart system data.

Advanced Database Development & Optimization: Masterfully design, develop, and optimize Oracle Database schemas, data models, and complex PL/SQL routines to handle massive volumes of real-time and historical data from diverse smart devices and sensors. Implement advanced partitioning, indexing, and tuning strategies for optimal performance and scalability.

Complex Data Integration & API Management: Architect and implement robust data integration solutions for heterogeneous smart application data sources, including advanced REST API consumption/publication, message queuing (e.g., Kafka, MQTT), and potentially direct sensor data feeds. Define and manage API contracts and data transformation layers.

Advanced Application Customization: Drive advanced customization and extension of the Oracle APEX framework, including developing reusable components, sophisticated charting libraries, dynamic reports, and custom authentication/authorization schemes specific to smart application security needs.

Performance Engineering & Scalability: Proactively identify and resolve critical performance bottlenecks across the entire smart application stack, from data ingestion to UI rendering. Design for high availability and scalability to support a growing number of smart devices and users.

Security Architecture & Compliance: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive security architectures for "Key Smart Applications" within Oracle APEX, ensuring data privacy, integrity, and adherence to industry-specific security standards (e.g., for industrial IoT, critical infrastructure). Conduct security reviews and risk assessments.

Collaboration, Mentorship & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary technical liaison with smart system architects, data scientists, operational technology teams, and senior business stakeholders. Mentor junior and mid-level APEX developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Emerging Technologies & Innovation: Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies in Oracle APEX, IoT, AI/ML, and cloud computing that can enhance our "Key Smart Applications" capabilities. Drive proof-of-concepts and technology adoption.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical/Computer Engineering.

7+ years of extensive experience in Oracle APEX development, with a significant focus on data-intensive and real-time applications.

Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and advanced Oracle Database administration/tuning.

Proven track record in integrating APEX applications with IoT platforms, smart devices, or large-scale data streams using various protocols (e.g., REST, WebSockets, MQTT).

Strong understanding of data modeling for time-series data and big data concepts.

Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and their IoT services.

Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they can be integrated into smart applications for predictive analytics or anomaly detection.

Exceptional leadership, architectural design, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.

Oracle APEX Developer Certified Professional (preferred).
