Responsibilities

  • Familiar with QMS structure & aware of the Quality Policy of the organization
  • Ensure establishing, implementing, and maintaining of quality management system of each department
  • Ensuring QMS process maintenance
  • Reporting to Management on QMS performance of all departments
  • Performing Internal Audit and discuss its findings to concern persons for closing out of NCR / CPAR if any
  • Identify any potential quality issues as per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes

  • Preparation of Inspection test plan (ITP), WPS, Work Procedures, Controlled formats as per Client requirement
  • Coordinate with the site QC in charge for the completion of as-built documentation
  • Attend the QA/QC meeting
  • Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages with the field QC site inspectors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Experience required
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills (English)
  • Ability to read & understand well international codes & standards
  • ISO 9001:2015 - LEAD AUDITOR CERTIFICATE
  • ISO 14001:2015 or ISO45001:2015 CERTIFICATE
  • Must be experienced in internal audit as per QMS

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Kafou Energy Company is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to play a key role in the growth of its Energy Management Services. The primary goal of the position is to work closely with the energy auditing team to conduct the required site surveys and studies in accordance with ASHRAE standards. The candidate shall have the required knowledge and skills in the implementation of energy management solutions for commercial and industrial facilities (i.e., proposal phase, detailed studies, and execution of energy-saving performance contracts).
The successful candidate will be required to be aware of M&V activities and to develop energy improvements solutions according to a solid-science and engineering approach . The candidate shall have the ability to prepare a technical report on the technical issues and progress to the direct supervisor. The candidate should have knowledge of the operation of HVAC equipment (DX Units, all kinds of chillers, cooling towers, chilled water applications like AHUs, FCUs, and boilers), water pumps, motors, lighting, and BMS systems.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a preliminary energy study in accordance with ASHRAE standards.
  2. Capability to perform data collection, processing, and analysis for preliminary energy studies for commercial and industrial facilities.
  3. Develop and implement M&V plans for energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) projects at various facilities.
  4. Provide technical assistance with ongoing review of data from energy management systems, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and energy savings analysis in coordination with the Energy Management Team.
  5. Perform savings and performance analysis according to a solid-science and engineering basis , reporting and/or presentations for customers.
  6. Inspect or evaluate building envelopes, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or process systems to determine the energy consumption of each system.
  7. Data entry and documentation of the obtained raw data and observations.
  8. Capability to request and obtain technical and commercial offers from the relating suppliers/vendors/contractors for delivering, installing, and commissioning energy operating equipment and systems.
  9. Support in overseeing the installation of ECMs.
  10. Inspect and measure the implemented energy management solutions to ensure proper installation and commissioning.
  11. Support efforts of Maintenance to troubleshoot problems.
  12. Support in Measurement & Verification plans as per the international guidelines (IPMVP).
  13. Excellent self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Requirements
  1. BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
  2. 5 -7 years’ experience in Energy and sustainability fields.
  3. Good English writing skills (proposal making, correspondence) to make comprehensive offers also verbal communication skills.
  4. Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Good knowledge of MS Office (Project, Word & PPT, Excel), AutoCAD, HAP & simulations software is required to carry out the job.
  6. Good knowledge of building management systems.
  7. Having Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) are a must.
