    Key job responsibilities

    - Serve as the key business partner working directly with service business partners and internal stakeholders (primarily infrastructure, physical security and operations teams).

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 5 years experience in Project Management related to physical security system

    The SPM is a key member of the APMEA Security team and reports to the MEA SPM lead. The SPM supervises the compliance of physical security standards, manages Physical Security Projects, serves on cross functional teams and is considered one of the Subject Matter Experts in all facets of Physical Security.

    The SPM's ultimate success will be measured by how they assist with the development, implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. This is measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided, access control effectiveness, and the protection of our customers data, employees and visitors. The position is responsible for observing Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team while enabling the local site managers to draw related services from the team, in a self-service manner.

    This includes :

    Provide technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects, coordinate security system design specifications and change management between internal teams and external vendors.

    Excellent project management skills are required with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience in prioritizing tasks effectively and working seamlessly across organizational boundaries.

    Securing the compliance of physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets and timelines.

    Designs, develops, and implements solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change outs.

    Support security system equipment commissioning. Completing the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.

    Build and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough risk assessments of client networks and applications to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.
    • Design and implement effective security measures for networks and applications to protect against breaches and attacks.
    • Provide recommendations and best practices for maintaining security standards and achieving compliance.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
    • Stay current on emerging threats and industry trends to continually enhance security strategies.
    • Deliver training and support to client teams on security awareness and best practices.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in network and application security consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of application security best practices and network security protocols.
  • Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    A Safety and Security Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of security for assigned hotels to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience while assisting in investigations and liaising with local enforcement officials when necessary and managing overall safety and risk management processes for assigned hotels to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience.

    What will I be doing?

    As a Safety and Security, you are responsible for managing all aspects of security, safety and risk management processes for assigned hotels to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. An Area Safety Manager will also be required to assist in investigations and liaise with local enforcement officials. A Security and Safety Manager will also be required to carry out full investigations and audit the hotel to ensure health and safety compliance. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Manage the internal and external guest accident/incident records by applying standard legal practices where necessary
    • Guide the investigative process relative to criminal activities at the Property Level
    • Manage health and safety, food safety, fire safety, security, trading standards, public health, housing, and disability within allocated hotels
    • Assist in investigations at hotel level and provide advice for the protection of the company's owned and managed assets
    • Liaise with local enforcement officials on statutory routine inspections and accident investigation
    • Analyze statistical accident data to allocate resources for high risk areas at hotels
    • Provide support to operations, statutory specialist training, supplier approval and crisis management
    • Manage overall safety, fire safety, security
    • Implement safety risk management practices in line with the company's safety policy
    • Actively reduce guest complaints relating to safety and fire safety
    • Audit the hotel to confirm Health and Safety/Food Hygiene compliance
    • Train Safety issues to managers, supervisors and colleagues


    What are we looking for?

    • Five or more years in Security or related experienced required within the hospitality industry

    • Ability to work on their own
    • Ability to deal effectively with all team members and guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger and collect accurate information
    • Experience in Safety and Security Management
    • Fire Safety Management/Risk Assessment
    • Ability to make decisions independently, complete in-depth investigations and act as expert in Safety and Security within the hotels
    • Communicate with team members to assist in their personal development through identification of individual training needs, development or support
    • Participate in necessary training and request training to meet development needs
    • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing in order to ascertain and document important information
    • Thorough knowledge of the hotels floor plans and layout of the building(s), function rooms and working knowledge of the city and surrounding area
    • Ability to use a variety of programs on the computer in order to prepare correspondence, produce reports and presentations and communicate via email
    • Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for an eight-plus hour shift
    • Visual ability to observe team members in the work place, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to both team member and guest behaviors
    • High school graduate or equivalent


    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    • University degree in security and safety
    • Fire Safety Management/Risk Assessment
    • Knowledge of safety regulations
    • Previous experience with Hilton Security and Safety standards
