Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to Executive Sous Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Accor Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.

- Handle and store meats, fish, and poultry in a sanitary fashion
- Recognize quality standards in meats, fish, and poultry.
- Understand receiving and requisition of like items.

- Have a strong knowledge of quality and grading standards as described by the meat buyers guide
- Demonstrate proficiency in the following cooking techniques: sauté, frying, poaching, pan frying, broiling, grilling, roasting, braising, and understand which cuts of meat are best suited for all these various techniques.
- Communicate to purchasing and receiving any discrepancies in quality, weight, or specifications of items being received.
- Other duties as required.
- Maintain refrigerator and kitchen in clean, organized manner to facilitate the high volume production necessary to achieve company goals.
- Maintain an effective training program for all employees so that all their time can be productive.
- Keep production of food at an adequate level which does not result in excessive leftovers and waste.
- Supervise all phases of food production and service directly related to all catering functions.
- Responsible for all quantity and quality control of food production and appropriate staffing of entire Butcher shop.
- Ensure equipment and kitchen cleanliness.
- Supervise and schedule butchery staff
- Assure that all cooks have all food items prepared to proper specifications in a timely manner.
- Maintain refrigerator and kitchen in clean, organized manner to facilitate the high volume production necessary to achieve company goals.
- Maintain an effective training program for all employees so that all their time can be productive.
- Adhering all safety and sanitation policies when handling food.
- Maintain food and labor costs
- Perform other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive management experience in a luxury hotel butchery
- Knowledge of Excel, word, and Outlook.
- Culinary Degree
- Must be completed HACCP Level-3 Food Safety Management procedures & guidelines.
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours.
- Must be physically fit in order to lift items up to 35 Kilograms.
- Must have great leadership and communication skills.
- Must effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – Process & Testing
Industry / Domain: Electrical Manufacturing (Switchgear, RMU, Panels, Meters, Metering Solutions)
Role Purpose:
To collaborate closely with the assembly and production teams to ensure products meet established quality standards. Responsible for overseeing testing machine maintenance activities and process monitoring to maintain operational excellence, meet production commitments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
1. Key Responsibilities
A. Manufacturing Quality Control & Compliance
- Implement quality control procedures as per ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
- Conduct Pre-Production Qualification Tests (PQT), First Article Inspections (FAI), and Final Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); track and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods meet defined specifications.
- Oversee Incoming Goods Inspection (IGI) and evaluate supplier quality performance.
- Monitor and align Taqyees Reports with Finance for SASO certification fee processing.
B. Inspection, Testing & Calibration
- Conduct routine inspections, accuracy tests, and product/component quality checks.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment per ISO 17025 requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection records, and quality audits.
C. Process Improvement & Root Cause Analysis
- Analyze defects, process deviations, and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC techniques to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production to optimize efficiency and reduce rework or scrap.
D. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain and update QC plans, inspection checklists, and audit documentation.
- Prepare regular quality reports and performance summaries for management.
- Support internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure product conformity and resolve non-conformities.
- Train QC inspectors and operators on quality standards and procedures.
2. Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields.
- Preferred Certifications:
- ISO 17025 (for calibration and laboratory environments)
3. Core Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and quality management systems.
- Proficient in quality tools, SPC, and statistical analysis software.
- Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and RCA methodologies.
- Skilled in documentation, reporting, and internal audit preparation.
- Effective communication and coordination across departments.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and train staff on quality practices.
- Computer Skills:
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint – Beginner to Intermediate Level)
- Quality/ERP Systems (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English communication, especially for emails, reports, and presentations.
