Requirements
Role Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of a company's fleet of vehicles. This role ensures that vehicles are efficiently utilized, properly maintained, and compliant with all safety and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating vehicle scheduling and dispatch, managing fuel and maintenance costs, ensuring driver compliance, and implementing fleet tracking systems to improve productivity. The Fleet Manager collaborates with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries, minimize downtime, and enhance overall fleet performance.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the fleet across all delivery centers
- Planning and coordinating vehicle schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Monitoring and controlling fleet-related costs including fuel, maintenance, and repairs
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize vehicle downtime
- Ensuring all vehicles meet safety, legal, and environmental compliance standards
- Managing GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management systems for real-time visibility
- Coordinating with delivery teams to resolve operational or logistical issues quickly
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle inspections, licensing, insurance, and servicing
- Evaluating driver performance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies
- Managing the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles as per operational needs
- Collaborating with the logistics, operations, and warehouse teams to support overall business goals
- Developing reports and KPIs to assess fleet efficiency and support data-driven decisions
- Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, or accidents promptly and effectively
- Continuously identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 2-3 years of fleet management or supervisory experience, required
- Experience in or exposure to logistics and ecommerce, preferred
- Team management and leadership skills including coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Effective customer interaction and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer knowledge

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Lead the Maintenance Planning, Record keeping, Fleet Management and Reliability and Maintainability teams within the TSS Technical Services department.
· Be responsible for all aspects of Fleet Maintenance Planning from early engagement with the operator and Pre-Input Requirements Meetings to successful delivery of aircraft and Post-Output Review Meetings.
· Be responsible for authorising Aircraft Statements of Work for Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance.
· Analyze, model and develop strategies for tactical and strategic fleet management of the RSAF Tornado fleet.
· Develop and deliver Strategic Fleet Management Briefs to RSAF Headquarters up and including Director of Aircraft Maintenance level.
· Manage the delivery of Tactical Fleet Management Briefs at RSAF KAAB up to and including Maintenance Squadron Commander level.
· Be responsible for the delivery of the Reliability and Maintainability Programme and endorse recommendations on improvements for CDO consideration.
· Act as the Manager for the Fleet Operations Team within the TSS Technical Services department.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential:
· A National civilian / military equivalent recognised aircraft maintenance traineeship / apprenticeship.
· Extensive experience within a Maintenance or Support environment, including significant direct experience of supporting or managing aircraft fleets via Planning, forecasting or scheduling.
· Experience of management within a fast-jet maintenance or design authority environment.
· Able to describe or demonstrate a Practitioner level of knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness, the aircraft types managed, the aircraft maintenance environment, Technical Instructions and aircraft modifications. Be able to demonstrate a Practitioner level of skills in fleet planning, Reliability Programme and Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
· Recent extensive experience as a Team Leader in fleet or component Maintenance Planning or a related discipline, such as Maintenance Tasking & Verification, Reliability Programme management or Aircraft Maintenance Programme development
· Working knowledge and thorough understanding of M&CA mandates and processes within a Part 145 Maintenance environment.
· Possess a current UK/Saudi Driver's Licence.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ensure maximum Fleet Availability through effective decision making, prioritisation and KPI management.
- Act as a the Main Point of Contact (POC) for the Riyadh T-21 Fleet liaising directly with HQRSAF, KFAA Base, MODSAP and BAE Systems personnel based in Riyadh and Overseas.
- Maintain the integrity of all data outputs, reports and briefs that relate to the performance of the T-21 fleet.
- Manage the Fleet Operations Centre and ensure the toolsets provide a focal point displaying the status of the T21 Fleet is available for stakeholders.
- Exercise oversight over all Operational tasks ensuring dependencies are effectively managed ensuring events are planned and executed in a timely fashion.
- Evaluate Operational Performance data to identify opportunities to improve the performance of the T-21 fleet.
- Assist with technical and reliability studies to increase availability of assets and minimize repair cost.
- Conduct cost benefit analysis for engineering customer specific modifications and provide recommendations.
- Maintain oversight of any ongoing disciplinary actions, seeking resolution where possible.
- Hold ownership and maintain tracking of any ongoing deferred defects of the T-21 fleet. Use their knowledge and available resource to seek solutions to both technical issues and supply chain discrepancies.

- Qualifications: National civilian / military equivalent recognised aircraft, aerospace or technician traineeship / apprenticeship.
- Have extensive post qualification practical maintenance experience OR exposure to a relevant management role.
