Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Media Relations Manager located in Jeddah. The Media Relations Manager at PR Arabia leads the agency’s media relations, focusing on building robust relationships with all media outlets, monitoring media coverage, and showcasing media reach and successes to both internal teams and clients, and implementing strategic communications plans. The individual will also oversee corporate communications and ensure the execution of effective public relations strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop a strategic media relations framework to enhance PR Arabia’s presence across all media channels.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key media outlets and influencers.
  • Lead media monitoring efforts, including generating media clipping reports and analyzing media reach.
  • Advise client servicing teams by providing insights and data on media coverage and impact.
  • Coordinate with the media planning and creative teams to ensure a cohesive brand message.
  • Spearhead crisis management initiatives, offering expert counsel to protect and enhance the agency's reputation.
  • Guide and support internal teams with insights on media trends and opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities on media platforms.
  • Foster and maintain good relationships with chief editors of major media outlets.
  • Maintain a complete database of Media across all media sectors (TV, newspapers, online publications, podcasts, social media, etc.).
  • Maintain a database of media according to their media specializations (economy, tourism, sports, lifestyle, automotive, etc.).
  • Conduct field visits to Media at their workplaces to improve relationships, enhance communication, and get to know them personally.
  • Attend all events and occasions organized by the company, be present to welcome media, and assist them in their media coverage.
  • Provide necessary support to journalists and facilitate their tasks by supplying clear and accurate information about the event.
  • Organize the distribution of souvenir gifts to journalists at the end of the event in appreciation of their efforts and participation.
