Job Description

  • Experience in Personal Data Privacy
  • Ensure that client policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law).
  • Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with the organization's key stakeholders
  • Inform and advise the data controller or data processor on all matters related to data protection
  • Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the organization
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues
  • Maintain records of all data processing activities of the company
  • Serve as point of contact for data protection authorities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or Information Management from a recognized and approved program.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading data governance and data management practices.
  • Have practical track records in data privacy practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches.
  • CDMP Certified
  • CIPP certification is a plus
