WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for contractual control, measurement, and payment for a PMC project.
Responsibilities
- Participate in regular project reviews to identify opportunities and risks to WSP’s financial performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to manage risks and opportunities, including correspondence, record keeping, and participation in commercial meetings.
- Assist the Project Manager with financial and contractual matters, negotiate contract settlements, and assess claims.
- Analyze financial accounts and reports to assess risks and revenue recognition, providing judgment and advice.
- Coordinate with the working capital team to settle disputed invoices promptly.
- Prepare cost estimates and assist in the preparation of monthly invoices.
- Review contractors' and consultants' payment applications and statements, and prepare payment certificates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with relevant contractual, legal, or commercial background.
- Member of RICS preferred.
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience with international consultants on PMC projects, with proven claims and dispute resolution experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi procurement law is a plus.
- Experience in PMC projects.

- Identify and examine costs inconsistent with projected values; review unusual cost records and ensure accuracy of cost data.
- Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to projects.
