Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Parsons’ primary representative with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers during project execution.
  • Represent the client in negotiations with regulatory agencies and at public meetings.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of critical project documents, including the Construction Management Plan, Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.

  • Maintain the prime contract file, ensuring it is current with all required documentation.
  • Prepare and negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and contractors.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address potential cost overruns, delays, or significant scope changes, while keeping clients and company management informed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management of change orders.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly construction progress reports and contract status reports for the client.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly Parsons invoices and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Prepare quarterly construction management reports and coordinate related meetings.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the QA/QC Plan, including inspection and testing protocols.
  • Supervise the setup and accreditation of onsite materials testing laboratories.
  • Establish and enforce safety and emergency procedures, conducting weekly site inspections with the contractor’s safety representative.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • PMP – Project Management Professional (PMI).

  • A minimum of 20 years of construction management experience, including experience on mega & Giga projects.

  • Proven track record of implementing a zero-accident safety philosophy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in KSA (we need a number of candidates to fill the roles in Riyadh, Abha, Makkah, NEOM) for qualified Coordinators who are LEED AP and/or Mostadam AP certified.

The Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating LEED and Mostadam certification and compliance on behalf of the contractor (our client). The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all compliance documentation of LEED and Mostadam, performing site visits, developing and managing sustainability plans, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating with the project construction teams to implement onsite sustainability strategies and provide evidence of achieving LEED and Mostadam construction credits. The Sustainability Coordinator will be technically supported by our back-office team and will be the point of contact for coordination between the site and our technical teams.

Responsibilities:
  • To be based on site full-time.
  • Communicate and advise construction team on LEED and Mostadam requirements and monitor implementation.
  • Develop Sustainability Compliance Plans addressing contractor-specific LEED & Mostadam Credits (with support from our technical team).
  • Attend weekly sustainability meetings in-person and prepare minutes of meetings.

- Experience in implementing road safety measures, pavement design, and signing and pavement marking. Knowledge in traffic planning and analysis, and traffic signalization design is a plus.
- Must demonstrate continual progression of experience and expertise in relevant discipline and area of expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
