Webuild is hiring Junior Civil Engineers to be part of the projects Connector ,Trojena and Riyhad l ocated in Saudi Arabia.

The Connector project covers the design and construction of most of the Connector South, a high-speed railway line along the north Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, which will connect Oxagon (NEOM's center for advanced and clean industries) with The Line (a future-forward city). The contract includes the building of a high-speed railway line and a freight line, both double track, along 57.2 km. The contract also includes viaducts, road bridges, and road and rail underpasses to facilitate train speeds of up to 230 kilometers per hour.

The Trojena Dams System is the project for a unique infrastructure project in the mountains of Saudi Arabia, located 50 kilometers from the Gulf of Aqaba, to create a futuristic location in the desert, with a system of dams, an artificial lake and iconic works, including "The Bow", an architectural marvel with also a hotel overlooking the valley.

The new Junior Civil Engineers will be part of the Project Team and will be involved in an induction and on-the-job training path, together with senior managers, on the main phases of technical / construction management and in coordination with the main competence lines, such as Engineering, Contract, Quality, AFC etc., and will be trained in the knowledge and understanding of the contractual specifications defined by the project, the work plans and updating of the programs, the budgets and cost estimates, the supervision and management of the works carried out, the materials and equipment.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • 0-3 years of experience;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) and AutoCAD;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Passion, high commitment in the job, flexibility and proactive attitude, adaptability, ability of autonomous elaboration, willingness to teamwork

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Construction Site Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction and commissioning services and activities within the scope of Hitachi Energy in HVDC converter stations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East region.

As the Site Manager, you will bring your expertise to manage all phases of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading activities on construction sites for industrial type projects.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Acting as the main interface to the Customer on all contractual matters and maintain a good relationship with local authorities and organizations.
  • Managing manpower requirements on site and drive the site activities to achieve the contractual milestones and targets.
  • Ensuring that all personnel on site are well informed about the Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW)
  • Managing change management on site, including variation orders to subcontractors.
  • Warranting that all tests are performed and accepted by the customer according to contractual conditions.
  • Fostering a culture of proper understanding and adherence by all site personnel to the Health, Environment and Safety requirements of the business, Customer, and local authorities.
  • Ensuring that all activities are done with the expected quality and that all quality records are created and properly archived.
  • Ensuring that all permits, licenses, and requirements are in place for a compliant execution of the site activities.
  • Ensuring a structured, up-to-date, and reliable documentation handling on site and towards the Headquarters. You guarantee that all activities are performed within the defined contractual schedules and milestones, understand the project budget and ensure that costs for the site activities are maintained within budget.
  • Ensuring that contractual obligations are met and to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • Assigning as Site Manager or Site Representative in medium to large EPC converter station projects, complex Consortium projects, Equipment Only projects or as Deputy Site Manager in large EPC converter station projects.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.

  • Sound commercial awareness, contracts management experience and business acumen.
  • Experience in Civil Works, Installation and/or Commissioning.

About the Role

As an Instructor, you'll deliver structured, high-quality training that blends theory with hands-on practice. You'll play a vital role in preparing trainees to manage site operations safely and effectively, with a strong focus on safety, supervision, and leadership.

What You'll Need

  • Assessor qualification (up to Level 4 NVQs)

  • Professional teaching qualification (minimum Level 3)

  • Full UK driving licence

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Construction Site Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction and commissioning services and activities within the scope of Hitachi Energy in HVDC converter stations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East region.

As the Site Manager, you will bring your expertise to manage all phases of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading activities on construction sites for industrial type projects.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Acting as the main interface to the Customer on all contractual matters and maintain a good relationship with local authorities and organizations.
  • Managing manpower requirements on site and drive the site activities to achieve the contractual milestones and targets.
  • Ensuring that all personnel on site are well informed about the Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW)
  • Managing change management on site, including variation orders to subcontractors.
  • Warranting that all tests are performed and accepted by the customer according to contractual conditions.
  • Fostering a culture of proper understanding and adherence by all site personnel to the Health, Environment and Safety requirements of the business, Customer, and local authorities.
  • Ensuring that all activities are done with the expected quality and that all quality records are created and properly archived.
  • Ensuring that all permits, licenses, and requirements are in place for a compliant execution of the site activities.
  • Ensuring a structured, up-to-date, and reliable documentation handling on site and towards the Headquarters. You guarantee that all activities are performed within the defined contractual schedules and milestones, understand the project budget and ensure that costs for the site activities are maintained within budget.
  • Ensuring that contractual obligations are met and to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • Assigning as Site Manager or Site Representative in medium to large EPC converter station projects, complex Consortium projects, Equipment Only projects or as Deputy Site Manager in large EPC converter station projects.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Site Manager on construction sites, in the Middle East, in the energy sector or similar industries, particularly in medium and large size projects.
  • Sound commercial awareness, contracts management experience and business acumen.
  • Experience in Civil Works, Installation and/or Commissioning.
  • Relevant and Certified knowledge and experience in the field of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment)
  • Very structured and organized, good people management skills, collaboration and team working spirit, resilient, excellent customer interface and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Middle East and worldwide.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English and Arabic is required.
