Your Main Responsibilities


  • Own the end-to-end financial processes for Trendyol’s marketplace operations in KSA and UAE.
  • Lead and participate in integration and improvement projects in collaboration with Tax, International Accounting, Projects, and SAP teams.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate financial statement closing processes.
  • Perform and oversee periodic reconciliations to validate financial transactions and ensure data integrity.

What We’re Looking For


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Provide professional finance & accounting consulting support in the post-funding phase to the list of Venture Capital and Loan funded companies that are supported and funded by Wa’ed.

Job Scope

To help the Entrepreneur prepare and report reliable financials on a quarterly basis. The key objectives of this consulting support are as follows:

  1. Provide training and support to the entrepreneurs’ finance teams on financial reporting and regulatory matters.
  2. Make recommendations to improve process, reliability, and efficiency of the financial reporting.
  3. Make recommendations to improve financial reporting to enable good decision making by the supported company’s management.
Function Description
  1. Conduct data collection through various methods (interviews, surveys, and reading reports).
  2. Analyze and interpret data to extract problems and understand the causes.
  3. Identify gaps and areas of improvement to create solutions that enhance the entrepreneur’s project.
  4. Implement proper solutions to ensure the entrepreneur’s project achieves the growth stage essential.
  5. Develop the toolkit for entrepreneurs to fulfill their business needs.
  6. Ensure entrepreneurs have the needed skills to guide them in their projects.
  7. Conduct site visits to understand the needs and suggest proper implementation.
  8. Support the funding unit in further rounds of investment.
  9. Report any project progression to the management.
  10. Coordinate with major service providers.

  • Supervise and process payment checks, wire transfers, and other payment operations.
  • Take ownership of the month-end and year-end financial close processes, including preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Execute timely payments to tax authorities and social security departments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, ensuring all statutory and reporting requirements are met.
