Postdoctoral Researcher - RF/mmWave Integrated Circuits The Integrated Telecommunications and Sensing Systems (ITASS) Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of RF/mmWave Integrated Circuits to contribute to pioneering research in wireless communications and sensing systems. The successful candidate will participate in the design, prototyping, and experimental validation of integrated circuits for phased-array transceivers, operating in the 60-140 GHz range. These systems target advanced applications such as 6G wireless networks, high-resolution radar, and joint communication and sensing (JCAS). You will join a multidisciplinary and well-funded research environment with full access to world-class infrastructure, including advanced EDA tools, cleanroom nanofabrication, RF/mmWave test labs, and multi-project wafer (MPW) tapeouts. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in RFIC design who are motivated to publish in top-tier IEEE conferences and journals (ISSCC, RFIC, IMS, JSSC, TMTT) and contribute to next-generation wireless and sensing technologies. Skills/Qualifications PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with a focus on RFIC/mmWave integrated circuit design. Strong experience in designing RF/mmWave circuits such as LNAs, mixers, PAs, VCOs, or phased-array front-ends. Proficiency in EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, ADS) and EM simulation tools ( HFSS, EMX, etc.). Hands-on experience with full custom IC tapeout in CMOS or SiGe technologies. Familiarity with high-frequency measurements using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and probe stations. Job Summary:

The operator position performs all tasks on the production line under the supervision of skilled operators and Team Leaders.

Production process - Spoolable composite line pipe (RTP) and (RTR) filament winding.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

  • Assist in machine set up as per production process run sheets.
  • Load and unload raw materials during preparation and production process.
  • Assist resin mixing in accordance to the procedures and maintains resin levels in baths.
  • Performs visual and manual measurement inspections and records results. Alerts Team Leader to defects that are outside acceptable limits.
  • Cleaning and prepares ovens after every run.
  • Operate equipment that will cut, grind, bevel and test fiberglass pipes to it into finished product.
  • Mix various adhesive, resins, coating and painting compounds used in the finishing &/or assembly process.
  • Cut parts to be assembled.
  • Fit, sand, assemble and bond parts into assemblies to complete customer orders.
  • Maintain and record specified tolerance/ dimensions as required on the manufacturing & Inspections reports and for accurate inventory management.
  • Required to operator process related machines, Pallet truck and Forklift.
  • Work in process extreme temperature.
  • Cleaning of machine parts after every run.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by skilled operators and/or team leaders.

This is a senior-level professional, project based in AlUla KSA, responsible to manage the Client appointed Consultants on multiple projects during RIBA Stages 1 through 4, in accordance with the PMC Development scope of services. The role requires active and direct involvement, strong leadership and communication skills, project development management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the Asset types, Mixed-Use and Airport Terminal developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

2. Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of professionals involved in the project, such as engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors.

3. Budget Management: Establish and control project budgets, ensuring that the project is delivered within the allocated financial constraints.

4. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.

5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with key stakeholders, including clients, management, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties.

6. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that the project adheres to all applicable Healthcare or Education or Residential projects regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.

7. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project, ensuring that all deliverables meet established criteria.

8. Progress Tracking and Reporting: Regularly track project progress, analyse performance metrics, and provide status reports to stakeholders.

9. Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

10. Change Management: Handle changes in project scope, schedule, or resources and ensure that any modifications are documented and communicated appropriately.

Requirements:

1. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in project management, or a related field is typically required. Advanced certifications (PMP) in project management can be advantageous.

2. Experience: Project Management at development stage with extensive experience (15+ years) with various Asset types, Mixed-Use and Airport Terminal projects.

3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various Asset types, Mixed-Use and Airport Terminal projects, including its regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.

4. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

5. Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and present project updates and proposals effectively.
