Overview Basic Function As Dispatcher in Jadeer logistics you will be responsible for the directing and coordination activities of driving staff and third-party driver service providers for all outbound/inbound shipments. He will route all outgoing/incoming good orders according to pre-existing route guidelines (local and offshore destinations) as well as establishing priorities and schedule deliveries in a manner consistent with the set forth business/client demands. Responsibilities and Duties Support in identifying routing trends and frequency for cost design purposes (Local and Offshore) Suggest developments and enhancements to the routing methodology and used computer applications/ERP and gear (Road maps, GPS, Real-time tracking, and re-routing) Review delivery orders to select the correct route/fleet based on the destination, shipment size and customer time requirements as well as other particular technical needs for each delivery address. Control driver, truck, and route productivity by ensuring that each truck carries a full load; Schedule loads to minimize the use of third-party drivers. Select specific trucks for each route based on volume and equipment availability. Develop a sufficient number of picking routes for warehouse/yard/terminal staff. Maintain daily dispatch log containing start times, driver, route number, and material handling equipment required for each delivery truck. Maintain road net data base customer locations, time windows and other information as directed. Investigate business/Client complaints regarding lost or damaged goods or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility in the DDR – Daily Delivery Report. Schedule shipments to ensure compliance with OTD (On-Time Delivery) regulations and company policy. Ensure that all OTD regulations are enforced.
