Job DescriptionThe Clinical Pharmacist – Outpatient Care ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered medication use in ambulatory care settings. The role includes direct clinical services, medication management, and collaboration with healthcare team members to enhance therapeutic outcomes, promote adherence, and ensure continuity of care.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive medication therapy management (MTM) for chronic disease patients.

- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Valid license in KSA.
- Board certification preferred (e.g., BCACP, BCPS).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical outpatient or ambulatory care pharmacy role.
- Experience with virtual care platforms is a plus.
- Clinical decision-making and pharmacotherapy knowledge.
- Patient communication and motivational interviewing skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unpacks and stores supplies, verifies items received against invoices, and stores perishables such as antibiotics in refrigerators.
- Checks invoices against orders to ensure all items are received (supply requisitions).
- Maintains inventory of supplies and prepares orders for new supplies as requested by the Pharmacist.
- Prepares and delivers ward stock to various nursing stations/wards and maintains records of their disposition.
- Fills containers with medications, labels them, and prepares them for use in the hospital pharmacy or nursing units.
- Fills vials following written requisitions.
- Pours liquids into measured containers, fills ointments or salves, caps, seals, labels, and delivers them to the Pharmacy or Store Room.
- Performs miscellaneous duties such as cleaning work areas and equipment, and maintaining records.
- Compounds I.V. mixtures, irrigating solutions, and other parenteral products under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Prepares prescription labels, fills containers, and labels out-patient prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Participates in hospital quality improvement programs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
