Job Description Strategic Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participating in implementing and transforming policies, goals and plans into medium and short-term plans to ensure internal work development and productivity increase.

• Participating in the development of the section’s work plan; distributing and following up on work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures

• Suggesting plans and programs that strive to boost the effectiveness of the section

• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing different project quantities related to the implementation of the project such as, materials, equipment and resources

• Providing quantity estimates for items needed for Al-Arrab Power’s targeted tenders and projects, and defining detailed quantities, measurements, specifications and required conditions

• Revising the incoming tenders, Contract Drawings, and all related documents, considering both the technical and non technical aspects of tenders in order to specify the needs and requirements of the project at hand

• Supervising the preparation of the BOQ documents specifying the necessary details for items; number, size, measurements, types, conditions, etc

• Supervising the quantity take-off activity done by the Quantity Surveyor, as well as ensuring that number of items associated with the tender at hand is reasonable as well as determining the necessary materials and labor

• Ensuring compliance between tender documents and the corresponding contract designs used for tenders, as well as ensuring accuracy and relevance in addition to providing comments and details in case of any discrepancies

Job Skills • B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree.

• Six years of experience in a similar position.

• Transferable visa is a plus.
