Full Job Description

● Review patients’ medical history and medical records, to assess their condition andneeds.● Meets the patient’s goals, needs and provides quality care by assessing andinterpreting evaluations and test results and determining occupational therapy.treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.● Confer with the multidisciplinary team to be able to provide the highest quality ofcare.● Develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and tasks that will helpthem meet those goals.● Demonstrate and oversee exercises that can help patients better perform everydaytasks.● Educate a patient’s family about how to help care for and accommodate them.● The occupational therapist delivers safe and effective occupational therapyservices under the supervision of and in partnership with the occupational therapysupervisor.● Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing andinstructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.recommending and/or providing assistive equipment and recommendingoutpatient or home health fo low-up programs.● Maintains patient confidence and protects treatment facilities operations bykeeping information confidential.● Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,rules, and regulations.● Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educationalworkshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks,and participating in professional societies.● Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs asrequired.● Functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.● Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressfulsituations.● Performs other related duties as required.● Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university inaddition to a minimum of 2+ years' experience in providing occupational therapy.treatment infusing behavioural principles and techniques with individuals onpediatric.●Preferred Professional Occupational license by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as anOccupational Therapy Specialist.● ASI certified is preferableEmployment TypeFull Time
