Full Job Description

● Review patients’ medical history and medical records, to assess their condition and
needs.
● Meets the patient’s goals, needs and provides quality care by assessing and
interpreting evaluations and test results and determining occupational therapy.

● Confer with the multidisciplinary team to be able to provide the highest quality of
care.
● Develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and tasks that will help
them meet those goals.
● Demonstrate and oversee exercises that can help patients better perform everyday

● Educate a patient’s family about how to help care for and accommodate them.

● The occupational therapist delivers safe and effective occupational therapy
services under the supervision of and in partnership with the occupational therapy
supervisor.
● Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and
instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.

● Maintains patient confidence and protects treatment facilities operations by
keeping information confidential.
● Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,
rules, and regulations.
● Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks,
and participating in professional societies.
● Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as
required.
● Functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.
● Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful
situations.
● Performs other related duties as required.

● Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university in
addition to a minimum of 2+ years' experience in providing occupational therapy.

●Preferred Professional Occupational license by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as an
Occupational Therapy Specialist.
● ASI certified is preferable
