The Asset Operation Engineer is an integral member of a team of High Caliber Operations Experts, specializing in Glycol, Methanol, or Agri-Nutrients, and is dedicated to Petrochemical Efficacy Improvement and cost optimization.

Playing a critical role in Manufacturing Processes, the Asset Operation Engineer collaborates globally to ensure operational discipline compliance and elevate Operational Integrity Maturity to the highest standards, implementing state-of-the-art models/tools in operating Petrochemical Facilities worldwide, guided by Manufacturing Strategy plans.

Roles And Responsibilities

Actively contribute as a key member of a high-caliber team of Operations Experts, providing Functional Ownership across various aspects of Asset Operation.

Collaborate globally to ensure the continuous recognition and achievement of high standards in plant performance within Manufacturing Processes.

Ensure operations discipline compliance and drive Operational Integrity Maturity globally, implementing state-of-the-art models/tools in Petrochemical Facilities based on Manufacturing Strategy plans.

Deliver specialized training programs to enhance knowledge and skills for site frontlines, including Supervisors, engineers, and Operations personnel.

Retain and share operational knowledge, embedding learnings in relevant systems (BP, SMS, PDPs, SES, TA, etc.), and support various assessment types (AIR, ALC, TARA, Projects PRPs, etc.).

Provide technical support to global sites for addressing chronic cases and burning platforms, contributing expertise to critical RCAs, Cold Eye reviews, and BM.

Oversee the execution of manufacturing strategy objectives related to operations, providing overarching support.

Leverage expertise to achieve excellence in EHSS, reliability, asset utilization, and operation cost optimization across all Global Sites.

Develop and deploy world-class practices and functional expertise through internal networking, knowledge management, and sharing experiences.

Identify improvement opportunities, assemble Taskforce Teams, and develop medium to long-term strategies for global site support.

Participate in projects across various stages, including Manufacturing Philosophy consultation and PRP participation.

Support Technology & Innovation (T&I) projects, sustainability, energy, carbon neutrality, and deployment, monitoring, and validation of Digitalization Solutions.

Must-Haves

Possession of a Chemical Engineering certificate is mandatory.

A minimum of 15 years' experience in the petrochemical industry within manufacturing, demonstrating substantial exposure to operational, EHSS requirements, and technical activities is a prerequisite.

Essential qualifications include excellent knowledge of RCA methodologies and certification as an RCA leader, strong manufacturing experience, and proficient analytical and process engineering skills.
