Ground Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Ground Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ground handling operations, including meet & assist, transfer management, customer check-in, tour co-ordination, guide services and issue handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Umrah/DMC ground handling, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all ground handling operations, meet & assist, transfer management, customer check-in, tour coordination, guide services, and issue handling.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient ground operations

• Coordinate with Supplier representatives to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service

• Monitor and manage ground handling staff, including hiring, training, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards

• Oversee the maintenance SLA standards with Suppliers.

• Prepare and manage budgets for ground-handling operations

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on ground-handling operations and performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in management or a related field (preferred)

• At least 5 years of experience in DMC Operations and ground handling

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry eco-system
