Fuel Operator

Full Job Description

• To conduct / supervise fuel decanting activity and ensure compliance with PPEs and safety standards.

• To conduct inspection of fuel tanker and storage tank and fill inspection check list before start of decanting activity.

• To ensure proper recording of fuel decanted in various tanks.

• To accurately record Engine hours / Meters at the time of fuel issuance.

• To undertake delivery of fuel to various equipment and record each transaction carefully.

• To ensure timely posting of fuel receiving and issuances in Maximo or some other software and reconciliation of fuel inventory.

• To coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of fuel.

• To arrange maintenance of fuel bowsers in coordination with end users and arrange calibration of fuel meters / dispensers.

• To monitor activities of fuel helpers and ensure compliance of PPEs.
