Position: Enterprise Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in the banking and insurance sectors to join our dynamic team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing architectural solutions that align with our business goals and objectives. Your expertise in EA tools such as Sparx, Abacus, Essentials, LeanX, etc., will be instrumental in driving our digital transformation initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints that guide the development and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models that depict the organization's structure, processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that solutions adhere to architectural principles and best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential to enhance the organization's architecture and capabilities.
  • Lead architectural reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and frameworks.
  • Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in enterprise architecture practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture function.

Skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 10+ years working as an Enterprise Architect in the banking and/or insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in EA tools such as Sparx, Abacus, Essentials, LeanX, etc.
  • Strong understanding of banking and insurance processes, systems, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF Certified, Certified Banking Architect) are a plus.
