Job Purpose

Manage a team of PMIS senior managers, managers, and specialist with the purpose to implement, support and automate the Architecure, Engineering, Construction, and operation (AECO) industry digital applications. He/ She should have strategic thinking and the ability to drive change through digital tansformation and engagement. Through the use of empowerment, and talent development meet the expectation to innovate, transformate, and create. He/She will be excellent at data analysis, data governanace, and data security, with an ability to drive digital delivery systems across different functions. Drive consistency within the TPMO, push for enhancement to systems, and systems road map, lead the team, and perform document control services. Have a good understanding of construction digital twin / construction project life cycle and at least 2 complete Implementations of construction digital transformation or construction project life cycle. He/She shall enforce the company vision/ mission of data governance, filling, collecting, and distribution procedures of controlled information. He/She shall ensure proper execution of works through monitoring project progress and teams performance to deliver the projects on time while maintaining the cost, and quality parameters to meet Red Sea Global (RSG) business objectives and requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Contribution

  • Help to build and promote a culture of digital transformation through the use of technology for better business outcomes. Develop a roadmap for use case development, prototyping, testing, deployment, and monitoring of innovative technology solutions.
  • Ensure that the overall digital transformation strategy/plan is properly executed. Monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.
  • Contribute to department KPI’s and responsible for department KPI achievement.
  • Align the work with the organization’s goals and contribute to RSG overall success.
  • Strategic thinker with insight to use knowledge, experience, and awareness to create plans and strategies that help keep the organization competitive now and in the future.
  • Contribute new ideas in the use of technology for business needs for future directions and drive strategy.
  • Work with senior internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology implementation in their departments.
  • Strategic planning, assist in the design of a sustainable process and tools for the Red Sea Global strategic, long-range, investment planning processes.

Leadership

Lead the team of digital delivery with maximum capacity to achieve the goals, KPI’s. Daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with tasks management in company systems.

  • Engaged employees lead to long term employee retention, high performance, improved quality of work and organization success.
  • Hold training and webinar sessions to train the internal and external stakeholders.

People Management

  • Manage the team, yearly objectives, training plan, team performance and mentor the team.

Functional Management

  • Lead the digital transformation team and engineering applications implementation.
  • Good understanding of construction digital twin / construction project life cycle and at least 2 complete Implementation of construction digital transformation or construction project life cycle.
  • Good understanding of construction processes i.e. master planning, project delivery, design, construction and handover.
  • System Integrations, automations and enhance the current systems with reverse engineering understanding.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis of the existing system functionalities to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations action plan and ensure implementation of actions.
  • Responsible for quality assurance: driving standardisation and consistency, ensuring best practice is collected and disseminated across the programme or project.
  • Identifying and introducing operational efficiencies and streamlining processes using innovative and new technologies.
  • Capturing and communicating lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement across all core services and systems.
  • Review and optimize the implementation of DOAs for Red Sea Global
  • Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
  • Crafting and executing queries upon request for data & presenting information through reports and visualization.
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools), Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Implement procurment, cost management and finance systems
  • Collaborate with different teams to integrate systems
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Define procedures to keep well-organized files and documents to ensure confidential information and is handled with complete discretion.
  • Scrutinize documents received for archiving, following up with relevant stakeholders, and decide on key search string references to be specified to maintain data standardization.
  • Ensure the information and management control system is implemented in compliance with the client’s standard.
  • Ensure the Project Team members are provided with adequate training and support to enable them to successfully use the procedure and systems.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Review the existing process flows and identify the optimization and standardization opportunities for processes across the finance department and enhance systems to reflect best practices processes.
  • Support in the internal audit process

Risk, Safety, Quality & Environment

  • He / She identify potential issues that may arise during the implementation process and develop contingency plans to address issues before they become problems.
  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the digital delivery function’s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, business process improvement, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science / Computer Engineering or any relevent subjects in business administration.
  • PMP/PRINCE 2 certified or equivalent (preferred).
  • Construction digital twin / construction project life cycle and at least 2 complete Implementation of construction digital transformation or construction project life cycle.
  • Experience of developing strategy, roadmaps and implementing business systems or tools.
  • Advance knowledge of BIM and GIS strongly recommended, but not compulsory.
  • Experience and knowledge of internal governance and delivery requirements in relation to Business Management Systems and associated standards including risk, change, quality and strategic business review processes.
  • Consultancy or contactors experience would be a plus.
  • Highly presentable and capable of working with the Project directors.
  • Minimum(10) years experience of system implementation, system integration, PMIS, Primavera P6, Autodesk tools, BIM knowledge, vendor management and application support.
  • Ability to deliver technical training to large audiences.
  • Good communication / Presentation Skills.
