Chemicals Specialist Jobs In Dhahran, Ash Sharqiyah | MatchaTalent Description

This company engages in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas. It operates through the following segments: Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate. The Upstream segment includes crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids exploration, field development, and production. The Downstream segment focuses on refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum and petrochemical products, and related services to international and domestic customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of execution (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering).
• Utilize simulation and modeling (energy and material balances, utilities and catalysts requirement, effluents and specifications, etc.) of refining and petrochemical units.
• Lead the carbon lifecycle evaluation process of projects from crude distillation all the way to polymerization.
• Identify carbon footprint reduction opportunities between refining and chemicals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; an MS is a plus.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in operations and 5 years in an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) role or a similar role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
