System Studies & Simulation, Inc (S³, Inc.) is a woman owned small business founded in 1991,headquartered in Huntsville, AL, that provides technical, programmatic, and logistics services to US Department of Defense, other US Government Agencies, and Partner Nation militaries, co-located with Government requirements.

S³ has 3 wholly owned subsidiaries: KBFS- provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications; S3I- OCONUS FMS technical services, maintenance, and aviation platform training; and, GLSS- SCA/CBA contract aviation.

S3 Arabia is seeking an Brigade Standardization Pilot to support our aviation programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Description :

Reports to the Aviation Director and provides program and training oversight for the overall BDE Aviation training program.Primary Mentor for the BDE S-5 Standardization Department. Performs duties as a Standardization Instructor Pilot in the AH64E Series Aircraft and supporting simulation device(s).Conduct qualification, refresher, readiness level, mission, continuation training and evaluation of VA, OPM, and MNG pilots in accordance with US Army Aviation Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) requirements.Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administer evaluations to ensure pilot proficiency and standardization of training across the BDE program.Responsible for maintaining Contractor Training Records (CTR) and Individual Aircrew Training Folders(IATF) to include completing required training, currency, and readiness entries for both VA and MNG crewmembers. Conducts AH64E Series Aircraft specific ground school instruction in a classroom environment, providing basic instrument instruction in the aircraft and flight training device(s), and performing flight training duties in contact, instrument, and combat skills training to US Army standards IAW government approved ATM, FTG, and POI requirements.Instruction may include any combination of Individual or Group instruction in an academic classroom environment and or aircraft or simulator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages the Standardization flight training program for all assigned crewmembers to include contractor training records management, annual evaluations, and performance reviews.

· Provide mentorship and recommendations to the customer on all ATP issues related to the Brigade Aviation Element (BAE) and employment of a Flight hour program.

· Senior BDE advisor on all flight training standardization issues.Makes recommendations for the implementation of standardization policies across the aviation brigade.

· Provides comprehensive feedback and updates to the Directorate of Aviation (DAT)addressing ongoing issues that impact the overall aviation program.

· Train and evaluate standardization pilots, instructor pilots, and pilots in the AH64E Series Aircraft in accordance with the US Army Aviation ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.

Independence:

Reports to the Airfield Support Services Division Manager. Works within the policies and procedures of the contract.Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Aviation Director.Manages and Supervise all assigned crewmembers. Supervisor of all flight training related functions to include daily flight training operations and endorsement of customer and additional instructor pilots or unit trainers.

Education Level :

Master’s Degree or an equivalent combination of college level courses, military training and job site experience may be substituted. Baccalaureate degree required.

Experience:

· Experience in Attack Helicopter operations required .

· Over 20 years of relevant military experience in divisional and TRADOC units.

· Multiple operational Attack helicopter combat deployments preferred.

· Worked at the BN/BDE level or equivalent experience.

· SIP experience at Fort Rucker preferred.

· Graduate of AH-64 Instructor Pilot Course (IPC)/including Methods of Instruction (MOI) with IP evaluation administered by a Standardization Instructor Pilot or by select Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES) required.

· Qualified AH-64E series Aircraft required.

· Minimum of 3000 total flight hour (total time)

· Minimum of 1500 hours Instructor Pilot time.

· Minimum of 1200 hours NVS time.

· Minimum of 250 hours NVG time.

Specific knowledge, skills, ability:

· FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate required.

· FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate required.

· Must maintain an FAA Class II flight physical required.

· Knowledge of Aviation laws, regulations, SOP’s, policies and operating procedures.

· Demonstrate past performance in the development and program management of organizational plans, policies, and execution of complex aviation tasks to include BDE level aviation projects.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.

· Ability to deal effectively with people in the completion of staff functions.
